Through the continuing generosity of our donors, KIBCA’s Scholarship Program has grown larger again! A total of 126 scholarships have been awarded for 2014.

KIBCA rolls out 2013 scholarships

KIBCA has commenced the role out of the 2013 scholarship program. This year KIBCA has awarded 120 scholarships to children from Kolombangara attending secondary schools and tertiary colleges.

Through the generosity of many donors KIBCA has been able to allocate $100,000 SBD for scholarships in 2013. This is an increase of $10,000 from last year.

The Kolombangara Island Biodiversity Conservation Association (KIBCA) has commenced delivery of funds from its 2013 Educational Scholarship Program.

Scholarships worth $100,000 will be granted by KIBCA this year to assist students from the Island. This is an increase of $10,000 from 2012.

2013 Scholarship Program

KIBCA will offer education scholarships in 2013.

Families are encouraged to join KIBCA to ensure their eligibility for the program. Information on the Scholarship program is available from the KIBCA office. Members of the local communities can become a life members of KIBCA for $5.

In May KIBCA commenced delivery of funds from its 2012 Educational Scholarship Program. This year 120 individual Scholarships worth $90,000 will be granted to assist students from the Island.

KIBCA offers a yearly educational scholarship program for Indigenous Kolombangara parents to support their child's education.

The scholarship program began in 2009, when it was run by KFPL and funded by SICCP. Since 2010, it has been run by KIBCA.

Indigenous Kolombangaran parents can now apply for educational scholarships for 2011.
